1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Parcel Wealth's website and educational services. By accessing our website or enrolling in our programs, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Parcel Wealth, operating from Ground Floor, Wisma Sanyan, Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman, 96000 Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia.
2. Definitions
For purposes of these Terms & Conditions:
- "Service" refers to financial education programs offered by Parcel Wealth
- "Participant" or "You" refers to individuals enrolled in programs or visiting our website
- "We," "Us," or "Our" refers to Parcel Wealth
- "Program" refers to any of our three educational offerings: Children's Financial Education, Workplace Financial Wellness, or Advanced Portfolio Construction
- "Materials" refers to educational content, documents, and resources provided as part of programs
3. Eligibility and Capacity
You must be at least 18 years old to enter into this agreement. For the Children's Financial Education Program, enrollment must be completed by a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these terms on behalf of themselves and the participating child.
By enrolling in our programs, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement and comply with these terms.
4. Service Description
Parcel Wealth provides financial education services through structured programs delivered in-person or virtually. Our services include:
- Children's Financial Education Program: Three 90-minute sessions for families with children ages 8-15
- Workplace Financial Wellness Program: Four 90-minute sessions for corporate employees
- Advanced Portfolio Construction: Eight weekly 2-hour sessions for experienced investors
Program descriptions, session counts, and pricing are subject to change. Current information is available on our website and in enrollment documentation.
5. Enrollment and Registration
5.1 Enrollment Process
Program enrollment is completed through direct contact with Parcel Wealth. Enrollment becomes binding upon receipt of full payment and our written confirmation.
5.2 Participant Information
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during enrollment and maintain the accuracy of this information throughout your program participation.
5.3 Program Prerequisites
The Advanced Portfolio Construction program requires investment experience. We conduct a brief consultation to ensure appropriate fit. Enrollment may be declined if prerequisites are not met.
6. Payment Terms
6.1 Program Fees
Program fees are as follows:
- Children's Financial Education: RM 1,400 per family
- Workplace Financial Wellness: RM 5,100 per organization
- Advanced Portfolio Construction: RM 9,300 per participant
All fees are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and include applicable materials and resources. Fees do not include travel costs if on-site delivery outside Sibu is requested.
6.2 Payment Method
Full payment is due before the first program session. We accept bank transfer to our Malaysian business account. Payment details are provided upon enrollment confirmation.
6.3 Cancellation and Refunds
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the first scheduled session receive a full refund less a RM 200 administrative fee. Cancellations made 7-14 days before the first session receive a 50% refund. No refunds are provided for cancellations less than 7 days before the first session or after the program has commenced.
7. Program Delivery and Scheduling
7.1 Scheduling
Program schedules are agreed upon at enrollment. We make reasonable efforts to accommodate scheduling preferences while maintaining program effectiveness.
7.2 Rescheduling
Individual session rescheduling is possible with advance notice. We work with participants to find alternative times within the program period. Multiple rescheduling requests may result in program extension beyond the standard timeline.
7.3 Delivery Format
Programs may be delivered in-person at our Sibu office, at client locations, or virtually via video conferencing. The delivery format is specified at enrollment and changes require mutual agreement.
8. Participant Responsibilities
As a program participant, you agree to:
- Attend scheduled sessions or notify us in advance of necessary absences
- Participate respectfully in discussions and activities
- Complete any recommended preparation or follow-up activities
- Maintain confidentiality of other participants' information shared during sessions
- Use program materials solely for personal educational purposes
- Provide honest feedback through program evaluations
9. Educational Disclaimer
Our programs provide education, not financial advice. Specifically:
- We do not recommend specific investments, financial products, or strategies
- Facilitators are not acting as licensed financial advisors during programs
- All financial decisions remain your sole responsibility
- Program content is for educational purposes and should not replace consultation with qualified financial professionals
- We make no representations about financial outcomes resulting from program participation
You acknowledge that financial outcomes depend on numerous factors beyond education, including economic conditions, individual circumstances, and personal decision-making.
10. Intellectual Property
10.1 Our Content
All program materials, curricula, website content, and related intellectual property remain the property of Parcel Wealth. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use materials solely for your personal educational purposes.
10.2 Restrictions
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, or commercially exploit our materials without written permission. You may not use our materials to deliver competing educational services.
10.3 Participant Contributions
Questions, insights, and examples you share during sessions may be used anonymously in future program development. We will not attribute specific contributions to you without permission.
11. Privacy and Confidentiality
We maintain strict confidentiality of participant information as detailed in our Privacy Policy. During programs:
- Individual financial information shared in sessions remains confidential
- Workplace programs provide only aggregate data to organizations
- Participants are expected to maintain confidentiality of other participants' shared information
- Session discussions are not recorded unless explicitly agreed for educational purposes
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law:
- Parcel Wealth is not liable for financial decisions or outcomes resulting from program participation
- Our liability for any program-related claim is limited to the fees paid for that program
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
- We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes or skill development
This limitation does not affect liability that cannot be excluded under Malaysian consumer protection law.
13. Force Majeure
We are not liable for program delays or inability to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, or technical failures. In such cases, we will work with participants to reschedule sessions or provide alternative delivery methods.
14. Termination
We may terminate your program participation if you breach these terms, engage in disruptive behavior, or provide false information. In such cases, fees are not refunded. You may withdraw from a program subject to our cancellation and refund policy outlined in Section 6.3.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sarawak, Malaysia.
Before initiating legal proceedings, parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation for a period of 30 days.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in our programs or legal requirements. Updated terms will be posted on our website with a revised effective date. Continued participation in programs after changes indicates acceptance of updated terms. Enrolled participants will be notified of material changes affecting their program.
17. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under Malaysian law, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
